Recording into Mbox 2 from BOSS GT-6 gtr FX unit?
While I will be doing some recording of electric guitars using mics on my amps, I'm also interested in going direct through my BOSS GT-6 digital multi-effects unit. Is that considered to have its own preamp? Should the cable with 1/4" jack then be connected to the line input of the Mbox 2? Or should the cable be connected to the DI input?
Anyone have experience using a GT-6 with an Mbox or Mbox 2 who could offer advice? Thanks. |

Either line or DI will work. I would try the line input first as the boss unit likely has plenty of output level available.
