Default I can't convert songs from PC to iMac

I have some songs that were recorded on my HP PC and saved on an external hard drive. I just bought an iMac but it won't open the songs completely due to EA issues. So I bought another external hard drive (iBook) and tried to drag and drop them over. However, not all of the audio files are copying over. I am getting this error.

The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -50).

Can someone please guide me through what i need to do?

Thanks.
