importing crash-help
my computer seems to crash everytime i try and import and convert a wave file.
Does anyone have any suggestions? my computer sony viao xg19 PIII (650) 256r Yamaha DS-XG Ver.4.06.2012 thanks

I am using an athlon AMD K-7 based system and am having a similar problem. When I try and import audio the pro tools application "slows down". Mouse movements become jerky. Has anyone had any success on an AMD system? Has digidesign released another version of free cos the first one really sucked.
