REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXTENSIONS ARE MISSING?

HEY EVERYONE

IM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH INSTALLING PROTOOLS LE 7.4.2 ON MY NEW MAC BOOK PRO (3 MONTHS OLD). ONCE IN INSTALL IT EVERYTHING GOES AS NORMAL BUT AFTER I RESTART MY COMPUTER I GET A MESSAGE SAYING " REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXTENSIONS ARE MISSING" THEN IM TRANSFERED TO THE PACE WEBSITE TO DOWNLOAD THE INSTALLER. I INSTALL THAT AND RESTART AND STILL THE SAME THING. EVERY TIME I WANT TO USE MY PRO TOOLS ON MY MACBOOK PRO I HAVED TO INSTALL THAT OVER AND OVER AGAIN.. WHAT IS CAUSING THIS TO HAPPEN?. THIS GET'S REALLY IRRITATING . IS THERE A WAY I CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM?

200 GIG HD
MAC OS X 10.5.4

PRO TOOLS LE 7.4.2 UPGRADE FROM DIGIDESIGNS SITE WITH NO PREVIOUS VERSIONS INSTALLED OR PLUG INS . THE ONLY PLUG INS IM USING ARE THE 1S THAT COME WITH THE PROGRAM ITSELF


I ALSO HAVE AUDACITY 1.2.5 AND SERATO SCRATCH LIVE 1.8.1 RUNNING ON MY SYSTEM AND I ALSO HAVE THE ENTIRE APPLE LOOPS LIBRARY THAT COMES GARAGE BAND VIA DOWNLOAD FROM APPLES WEBSITE. ARE ANY OF THESE MAKING A INTERFERENCE? SOME ONE PLEASE HELP.

P.S. - THIS PROBLEM REALLY BOGGLES MY MIND BECAUSE I JUST GOT A NEW 24" IMAC 2.8 GHZ 320 GIG HD W/ MAC OS 10.5.4 FOR MY STUDIO AND I HAVE PRO TOOLS 7.4.2 RUNNING PERFECT WITH ON THERE WITH AN MBOX 1.

"Required Software Extensions are missing" followed by a message to be transferred to the PACE website when I launch Pro Tools.
Trash all Digi extensions, Digidesign folders, DAE folders, Digi preferences, Digi control panels, and reinstall Pro Tools LE after a restart.

I'm getting the "Required Software Extensions are Missing" message when opening up my ProTools and it takes me to the PACE download page... I think you guys know what I mean...

The thing is, I know what the problem is...
I installed a plug in for auto tune called (auto-tune evo) without even having auto-tune software on my computer...
so then it made me look into iLok... and I don't have an iLok account either...
so it screwed everything up.

So I erased all the files I could find on my computer involving iLok PACE stuff and auto-tune stuff... and it's still giving me that message and I can't open ProTools...

Do you know what to do?

You still need to install the PACE drivers, as they are required for Pro Tools to operate properly.

I ended up just reinstalling ProTools...and I'm golden now.
