Any LE users have any info. on this? My understanding regarding Melodyne in Pro Tools LE is that it must be used in rewire mode. Is Melodyne Bridge an alternate method? I saw this in a Melodyne video.

Depends what product you are talking about, Melodyne plug-in works as an RTAS plug-in. No reWire required.

Thanks for your feedback. I am referring to Melodyne Uno Essential included in the ignition pack with PTLE 7 +. Does this version work as an RTAS plug in? The manual seems to indicate it will work in pro tools only as a rewire instrument.

The manual is correct (why wouldn't it be?). The "Uno" version works in Pro Tools by using the Rewire protocol, but that functions just like an RTAS plugin, so I'm not clear on where your confusion is.
The only version of melodyne that functions as an RTAS plugin is the plugin version. All the other versions will use either the rewire or the bridge (not available in the "Uno" version) for connectivity.

There is a problem with OSX Leopard, Melodyne Uno and rewire. You may want to get the newest version; http://www.celemony.com/userforum/viewtopic.php?t=2792
