protools 7 update questions

have protools 6.7 does the update to 7 require that a previous version o protools be installed?
ie: must i have 6.9? installed
i realise that i need panther installed

Actually you need Tiger (10.4), Panther is 10.3 which will not work with PT7. Currently Digi does not support 10.4.4 or 10.4.5, so you should stick with 10.4.3 until either of those others is approved (if ever).

You do not need a previous version of PT installed to install PT7.

thanks for info i knew it was 10.4 that i needed dehh
so i can get the upgrade from 6.7 and do not need 6.9 installed??
