Hi,
we have PT 7.1 TDM installed on a G5 (updated to 7.1 few weeks ago). Now I try to import audio files through the workspace browser, dragging them directly into an existing track. Even with 7.1 installed, this worked fine in the past few weeks. Now this is what I got: "The file could not be imported because QuickTime is not installed". As you can guess, I am unable to import the files (mp3's, Apple lossless or any other compressed file type). Note: Quicktime is installed, version 7.1.1 to be precise. Any clues as to how to overcome this issue. Thanks a lot, RR |

Besides the general troubleshooting stickie
I'd suggest running the QT installer again, or that it might be a particular file (or set of files) that are problematic. As a workaround you could convert the files with QTPro or some other audio app. 7.1cs7 10.4.6 QT7.1.1 |
