Muting many tracks makes cpu skyrocket. MacPro
MacPro 4 x 2.66GHz. PT 7.1.1 LE
Although I have noticed this on a MacBook Pro as well, when I mute many tracks (10 or more) the CPU in system usage window goes to about 90%. When those tracks are not muted, it goes back down to 20%. What's the deal with that? When I solo a few tracks, the cpu starts crawling up as well. Any takers? Similar issues? I've seen it on two Intel Macs now. Thanks Eric
