cutting and pasting whole sections
Hi. I'm running Protools LE on a Mac using an Mbox.
Mixing one song, I have now two sessions that I like. The problem is, I like how the chorus is mixed in one session, but I like everything else in the other one. It seems very tedious to cut and paste all of the tracks, and this method doesn't seem to be the best, as some of the tracks don't sound right after they are pasted. Is there any easier way of doing this? i.e. some sort of "import section" function? Thanks! |

Re: cutting and pasting whole sections
From the regions list, import audio.
Read the free pdf manual, it's all in there. |

Re: cutting and pasting whole sections
Use the import track function. This allows you to bring over all of the plugs and automation from the intial session.

Re: cutting and pasting whole sections
Sadly, Pro Tools leaves a LOT to be desired when it comes to working between two sessions.
