Fully color coded tracks?
Hi all.
In this photo... [image]http://www.daveweiner.com/pt_colortracks.jpg[/image] ..you can see that every track is fully color coded. But I've not been able to find out how to do this. I'm running 7.3.1. I've looked in the preferences, in the manual, on this forum and googled it. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks for your help. Dave

Re: Fully color coded tracks?
Yeah... Double click on the color palette in the mix window to open the window for color selection. Hold all three mod keys (command ctrl option), while doing this click in the color selection window, hold the click and drag the mouse up and down... voila! I don't think it's covered in the manual.

Re: Fully color coded tracks?
Also you can shift click individual or grouped tracks and color code the mixer.. for example chorus is all in green on the mixer, auxes are blue, master is red...etc....it is a great hidden feature...It will also carry over from session to session...wonderful addition!

Re: Fully color coded tracks?
Cheers guys. Got it. I find having the colors blatantly displayed helps alot. Digi needs to put these instructions in their manual.
Thanks very much.
