Default pro tools HDX card

Hi,
On windows 11 machine,
I installed Avid MTRX and connected the diglink cable into the HDX chassie

I installed HDX card on thunderbolt chassis and connected the thunderbolt from the chassis into the windows PC USB.

DADMan can see the MTRX

I installed pro tools on windows, it starts ok

My problem that I can only see ASIO and realtek in the playout engine. I can not see the HDX, why pro tools does not see the HDX

Also when pro tools starts it gives me this message: no DAD device connected

What is the problem and what is the solution, thank you

You need to make more effort here to provide the expected clear information about your setup. Start by reading what is expected under "help us help you" up the top of each DUC web page and trying to do that. People cannot guess what you are doing.

What exact version (i.e. 2024.10.1) of Pro Tools are you running? Is that Pro Tools Ultimate?

Is Pro Tools>About showing it actually is started up as Ultimate?

Where is your SiSoft Sandra report? Get Sandra running and post a report here as expected for folks with problems on Windows.

I really would not have ever done a thunderbolt chassis on Windows. Just too many PCs options with internal PCIe slots, and that stuff is more likely to work with less hassle.

What *exact* chassis are you using, make, model. If it has a PCIe2 compatibility switch is that in the correct PCIe 2 to mode?

What *exact* Thunderbolt 3 or 4 port (not just any USB-C port) are you connecting that chassis to on that PC and how do you know it support Thunderbolt? Can you test it with a different Thunderbolt (not USB) device?

What does Windows Device Manager show for that Thunderbolt chassis? Post a screenshot to a photo or file sharing web site, and post the links here to those photos.

Good questions from Darryl. Some thoughts; I wasn't aware that a TB-USB chassis even existed. Can't you install the HDX card in the PC? Is the chassis showing up as a working device in Device Manager(until it does, its not going to work)? Do you have Pro Tools Ultimate(not everyone knows that this is required)?
