Hello all,
I am seeking help with the setup of my studio recorder. My previous setup was: Tascam Word sync Output to Input Roseta Word Clock in. Word sync Tascam In connected to Out 96 interface Loop sync. I've replaced the 96 interface with Carbon Avid Interface but it doesn't have a Loopsync. What's the best way I can connect this to synchronize? Thanks so much for your help, it is much appreciated. |

Greetings,
This is concerning -> "I've replaced the 96 interface with Carbon Avid Interface..." You are aware that Carbon is a system (audio engine, IO, DSP) and not just an interface like a 192, 96, HD IO, MTRX, right? Jeff |

As Creative noted Carbon is a complete Hybrid DSP system with it's own excellent clock. What would be your work flow or total system reasoning for wanting to connect an external clock ?

My reason for wanting to connect an external clock is because I would like to be able to burn my final session on CD via external tascam studio recorder instead of through the computer. Thanks again |

So you're going out of Carbon S/PDIF into the Tascam cd recorder? I guess question one is can the Tascam lock to the S/PDIF signal?
