Group not soloing when one "s" is clicked
Hello,
I'm new to PT9, having jumped up from 7. Everything is essentially the same as 7, except when I choose multiple track to "group". The group is not soloing when I choose one track and click on "s" for solo. (In pt7, when I grouped multiple tracks, clicking on one "s" on any of the grouped tracks would solo all of them) Volume is working, e.g. when I change volume on one of the grouped tracks, they all change. But soloing is not. I've looked all through Preferences and haven't found a solution. Thanks for your help

Re: Group not soloing when one "s" is clicked
Disregard - I found it - in the main Group menu when initially creating the group
thanks again

Re: Group not soloing when one "s" is clicked
Ok now I have another issue: I figured out how to solo all the grouped tracks, but now when I *deselect* the group under "Edit Groups" - e.g. now the group is not highlighted, when I click on one "S" button, they ALL go to solo again. In PT7 when I deselected the group in the list, this turned OFF the group solo. But it's not doing it now. Why?

Re: Group not soloing when one "s" is clicked
I'm not sure what you mean, but shift+command+G will suspend all groups and unsuspend them. Also while a group is on, you can hold down control and solo one of the tracks or change a track's volume or do anything to one track that would normally affect all in that group, then let go of control and each grouped function will move again in congress with each other.

Re: Group not soloing when one "s" is clicked
I think it was a bug from going back and forth with sessions in PT7 and PT9. As a workaround I'm having to delete ALL the groups and create new ones, which are working fine. Time-consuming, but necessary.
