Default moved unwanted plugin to UNUSED plugins folder - then it reappears on PT launch

Ok this is crazy. any help would be appreciated.
just trying to have LESS plugs in my Plugin list.

I moved the "InTune" plugin to UNUSED plugins folder as i will never use it
yet each time i relaunch PT, that dang plugin REAPPEARS in the PLUGINS FOLDER?

it seems to only happen to AVID stock Plugins, not any 3rd party plugs.
what is happening? anyone know anything or how to fix this?

Oh discussed on DUC many hundreds of times. This is normal behavior, all standard plugins are built into the Pro Tools application bundle and if missing from the plugin folder are copied there when Pro Tools starts up.

You are probably best off just leaving this as is.

Easy!

Right click on the Pro Tools app in Finder and select "Show Package Contents". Then navigate to "Contents"->"Plugins". These are the plugins that Pro Tools re-installs automatically every time it launches. Simply remove the plugins you don't want (or create a new folder somewhere for unused system plugins and drag them there for safe keeping).

I remove most of Avid's stock plugins this way, as I do not use them; Less clutter in the plugins menu and Pro Tools even loads a little faster too! Yay!
