Urgent! In a session! Turn on horizontal scroll? (Shift+scroll)

I am in a session at a different studio and for some reason the horizontal scroll isnt working.. I am drum editing so I definately rely on this!!! My question is.. Is there a way to turn it on or off? I searched thru everything and can't seem to find it! Please help!!!

doesn't work when using apple's magic mouse... is that what you're using?

I just got a magic mouse today and found that horizontal scrolling doesn't work in Pro Tools. Are you saying it doesn't work for anybody using a magic mouse? It's not just me?

With the magic mouse, Shift + scrolling doesn't work (as far as horizontal scrolling goes).
Instead, scroll horizontally on the mouse and it works without having to press a key. It's a great feature except that even at the slowest scrolling speed for the mouse, the screen flies through from left to right (and vice versa) making it VERY hard to use. If I'd known that before I probably would not have bought that magic mouse, but hey. I got it now so I have to use it right...?
