A modest USB interface is going to be between $150 and $300(so if you don't want/need to actually use Pro Tools, getting a USB interface seems a "no brainer" to me).

I realize this is not the answer we all hoped for, but at some point, I think it best to accept that we have hit a wall on making this work. Moving to a new interface WILL make things work, cost less money and allow the OP to start making the music he wants to make

hello and Thks for the reply you really think the problem is the hd driver ( it's what iam thinking too). But I tried any hd drivers from you and I have always the same problem. It's very curious i know my pthd9 is not for windows 10 but pthd9 is not installed actually I got only the hdn + digi 192 I tried many hd drivers the newest, then the hd drivers from the pthd12, 5 and always the same result.
In the future I would like to use pro tools and my reason but don't know if the real problem is the hd driver cause I tried to install many HD drivers

If I want to do a re-instatement plan how to do?
Cause I have linked my ilok account with my avid account but I see only my pthd9 bundle on the ilok account.
And don't want to buy a digilink licence cause I will use the pthd 12,5 cause I am on windows 10 and I know if I go to pthd 12,6 or upper I will have to buy a digilink licence and my hdn + digi 192 is supported only until the pthd12, 5 no?

If I read you right, with Pro Tools 9.0.6 HD on your iLok, you first installed Pro Tools 9.0.6 HD (which installed the 9.0.6 HD Driver), then, after uninstalling Pro Tools 9.0.6 HD, the 9.0.6 HD Driver still worked with Reason on Windows 7.

Then, when you went to Windows 10, you installed the 12.5 HD Driver, which apparently won’t work, without also having Pro Tools 12.5 HD installed.

Installing Pro Tools 12.5 HD is a total waste of time, if you don’t have a Pro Tools 12.5 HD license on your iLok.

Don’t buy a Reinstatement, until you have Pro Tools 9 HD (or higher) in your Avid account.
It appears Avid haven’t transferred your “Not for Transfer” license to your Avid account – after all, that’s what it says in your iLok account: “Not for Transfer”.
If you want to risk losing money by Creating A Case, tell Avid you want your Pro Tools 9 HD transferred to your Avid account, so you can upgrade it with a Reinstatement.

If Avid did allow your transfer, it appears Reinstatements include a DigiLink I/O License:

yes I understand it's the reason why the avid hd driver doesn't work on my windows 10 I don't have pthd12. 5 licence on my ilok account

Allow Transfer No (I may be wrong, but this is why I think Avid will not transfer this license to your Avid Master Account, even though you own this usable Pro Tools HD 9 Bundle


If you want to find out if Avid will transfer this license to your Avid account (which I doubt), you can buy an ASC (Avid Support Code) and submit your case online, as shown here:

Is this the original Owner's iLok that you bought with the hardware - if so, did the Owner give you his/her iLok Password (and associated Email and Password) so you could use this iLok, or is this your own iLok account?

this ilok was given by the old owner when i bought to him the hd native + pro tools hd8 in box, but this is my own ilock account.
