S3 Modifier Keys

Hi all

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere; I have not been able to find any reference to it.

I am on PT 21.10 with Eucon 2021.10.1 and on Mac OS Mojave but the modifier keys on my S3 (shift, alt etc.) are not working at all.

The corresponding keys on my computer keyboard work fine.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I've reinstalled EUCON Workstation Unified Install 20.11(Mac) from here:
https://my.avid.com/esd/Product/Download/2482

The modifier keys (and the programmed soft keys that use the commands in question) are working again.

Fingers crossed that the next update will address this.

I'm not certain what functionality I may be compromising on here with the rewind but I do use those modifier and programmed keys all the time so will take my chances.

Hoping Eddie will see this so that he can give us an update.

This is a interesting issue and we are looking into it. Can you tell me if you are trying to use the Modifier Keys in conjunction with Mouse clicks in PT. Or are you not seeing them work in conjunction with surface based inputs?

As an example; I use the S3 'Shift' key and the mouse to select multiple clips i.e. click in first clip; hold down shift; click on last clip and all clips are selected. With the latest version of Eucon and using the S3 'Shift' key, the mouse click would just highlight the clip being clicked on but when I use my computer keyboard everything works as it should.

Similarly, using the 'Alt' key to duplicate and drag a highlighted clip works with the computer keyboard but not the S3 'Alt' key.

With the reinstalled earlier version of Eucon the S3 keys worked as they should.

Hi folks, I’ve been having the same problem with soft keys. I tried the roll back patch above. Quick Q - did you have to uninstall the latest patch before installing the older one? My soft keys still don’t work (they did before I installed the latest version a few weeks ago).
