Default Digi Buys Bomb Factory!!!?

In Digi's NAMM Hot News the last bullet point in the middle of the page casually states:

"Bomb Factory — Digidesign has acquired the plug-in assets of Bomb Factory"

NAMM Hot News

Anyone know more about this?

Is this good news or bad in your opinion? I'd much more prefer to use the BF plugs with Digi's customer support. What do you guys think?

OK, so if Digi owns the Bombfactory stuff, will they still sell Cosmonaut (what a joke)?

I'm glad because a few of these plug-ins I can't live without.

I think Digi customer support is tops in the industry, this can only be good news.

As long Erik 'Grovelsmuck' (and every customer service rep that lives at BF) is no longer involved Bomb Factory, I think it's ag reat move by Digidesign. Pretty damn smart, actually.

Default Great!

BF plugins are great products but I'd be happy for Erik and his henchmen to go back to whatever mudhole they came from and let Digi run a decent show with those products...

Smart move, Digi! (Now how about taking over NI, too? )

Looks like I may get screwed. I bought the 48K "Plutonium" bundle. Some of the plugins I already own are being discontinued for my platform (Mix / Windows XP) by Digi.
