Default PlugIn text over/under other text(reference pitch)

the text in the insert boxes that usually displays the name of the plug in used is also displaying, "reference pitch" in the same box on every insert, now the text looks bad.

i have repaired permissions.

how do i turn this off or get rid of the reference pitch text?

thanks,

base1001
