Default digi 002 64 bit drivers

does anyone know when or if these will be available soon? I use PT rarely and want to try out current 64-bit DAW's... it seems weird that digidesign has not developed these drivers when other smaller companies that offer interfaces (m-audio, RME, ) already have 64-bit versions of their drivers..

Its on their radar but I would not wait for it. You can always use a SATA drive cage like this:

and have 2 system drives. One with your 64 bit OS and software, and the other with 32 bit OS and Pro Tools. This company also has a cheaper model and the one above works so good that I bought the triple version for all my audio drives.

thanks for the reply. 64-bit drivers have to be digitally signed, so i guess it must take a while longer is my guess..

You can disable 64bit driver signing but you will still need a 64 bit driver. Hopefully we will see one someday.
