Default Going back to 2021.3... see other posts

I need to go back to 2021.3, seems there is some kind of memory leak (I can't prove it using analytical tools), but given the lag, choppy click and drags of parameters, and choppiness of the meters etc, I would say there is some kind of issue.

Gotta go back until this one is sorted. I could deal with the tab to transient issues because there was a workaround...

I went back to 2021.3 and the issues have disappeared. Basically it seems like it's a slow video issue. If I click on anything and try to drag it, i.e. making a selection on a wave file, trying to change a slider in a parameters window such as the color palette, the mouse is sticky, choppy and jumps.

The Meters on the mix window are choppy and sticky too.

I also see the issue where loading a session, the video of the session takes about 30ms to load. I'm hoping this is all tied to the same bug.

It's been a long time since I've gone backwards in a release, but had to on this one.

For those that are interested here is the case I opened with Avid: 04196098

Can you open the MacOS Activity Monitor and show the GPU history window and report what it's showing?

What resolution is your display and what’s the OS/hardware config? Curious if this is related to what I’m seeing.

No...need to update that old signature...on Big Sur 11.4 here, MBP16 with 32 gig of ram. I was on 11.3.1 when I first installed 2021.6, decided to update to 11.4 to see if that would help, but both were really sluggish. I haven't had any crash's, so it's stable in that regard, just annoyingly sluggish like others are reporting. It all seems graphic related. I'm seeing the random black box's appear in the timeline. Also, plugins are responding slow when adjusting parameters.
