Quick Question...
okay so i just got an external hard drive for pro-tools,
im just not sure on how to get pro-tools to record to the drive i pretty much went into the workspace clicked my external to say "R" for record. then hit my internal hard drive to say "P" for playback. is this the right way??? thanks tons! |

Well... you record to an external drive the same way you record to any drive, your session has to be located on it and then you just do the standard record process.
Am I missing something from your question?

how do i setup it up so my pro-tools as you put it "locates my sessions" on an external hard-drive, and did they way i set it up on the workspace correct

just move the root media folder and your pt session file to your extHD and open the session.
