MTRX Activation Issue

I am trying to register my new MTRX Interface and after inputting the Activation code and logging in to iLok, I get to the serial number page. Here after inputing the serial number off the back of the unit, I get the error message "You serial number is invalid or already used. Please check that you typed it correctly"
I have done this loads of times with no luck and can't install the HDX without installing the MTRX first to get the I/O driver.
Am I missing something? cheers. Jon
