Can't seem to get Talkback working at the moment.
I'm running DADman Version 5.8.0.8 on an MTRX II. MTRX II firmware is v1.1.0.3. I've configured Talkback to be on Dante channel 1 (X2P mic preamp 1 fed into Dante input on the MTRX). I can call the mic up as a monitor source without any issue but it won't work using the talkback button in DADman (or off the S6). In DADman monitor profile something curious is happening: I cannot edit the label in the second image. Also it shows that Talkback is selected for the monitors until you right click on them, then they show No TB. Am I doing something dumb or is this a bug? Thanks folks.

Follow what the TB logic says when you are not right clicking in the menu. Agreed it is misleading as when you invoke the menu it always defaults to No TB. I cannot edit the name of the TB field either. I will inquire about that. So - your issue is likely Dante related. Are you getting meter deflection in Dante Controller and in the DADman patchbay for that Dante Ch1?

OK I might have some idea.
I think this is a monitor profile corruption or something related to my specific monitor profile. If I create a brand new monitor profile then it works. Is there a maximum number of channels in Pro Mon? Perhaps I have hit a limit? I have a lot of input sources- more than 70 odd channels of inputs and a lot of them are in all 4 monitors. I can reduce that if need be.

The mic preamp works great as an input source and I can even serve it up via Omnibus to Zoom. I don't think it is a Dante problem, I think it is a monitor profile issue. I will recreate a new monitor profile (which is probably about 3 hours work). Will report back.

I've emailed it over to you. Thanks for the incredibly swift response. I'm going to leave this to tomorrow to recreate my profile. 1:30am is a bad time to do this I think and I forgot that I will have to set up SPQ all over again too.
