Greetings,
When I boot up my entire system in the proper order per the manual (e.g. computer last, speakers very last), the first time I launch Pro Tools or Logic Pro - the MTRX Studio sends a huge surge of unexplainable signal to whatever output is selected in my Dadman profile. It's a little scary. I've taken to the practice of waiting until the DAW is launched before turning on the speakers, but this doesn't seem like a giant surge of signal should ever be happening when launching a DAW. Please note the following:
I've also noticed when I switch between output sets going out of the analog outputs of the MTRX Studio, I get very loud clicks and pops when switching between outputs. I noticed that two of my three output sets have light blue dots in the Con section, while my third has dark blue dots. It doesn't seem like the color of the dots comport to the same scheme/reason listed in the manual. So I'm just a little confused. Please note the following:
Screen shots can't be attached as they've been blocked by DUC, though I'm not sure why. I'm more comfortable posting them on DUC than a third party service. Thank you in advance for any help or advice you can offer. I'm open to a video call if that would be helpful.

Greetings,
Can you post a screen grab of your monitor profile settings - specifically the trims, filters, delays, and bass management you are allocating for each of the speaker channels? best, Jeff |

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your response. DUC has blocked me from uploading screen shots. I'm not sure why. Thanks, Shawn

You can use any commercial or free (WeTransfer for example) sharing service and simply post a link. For reference, here's one of our rigs tuned by Dolby for the tradeshow -> 7.1.4 which uses Crown Amps and JBL 7 series:

Hi Jeff,
Thanks. I've uploaded screen shots to Imgur here: https://imgur.com/a/5JtsEdO. Please note that all three output sets were imported from SonarWorks Sound ID Reference for Multichannel (only two of them cause loud clicks and pops when switching to them, the two have SPQ eq, trim, and delay on them, and the third only trim. Please also note that the imported output sets do not show all monitor profile settings - the trims, filters, delays, (no bass management) for each of the speaker channels - only the trims in the monitor profile. So in its place, I've taken screenshots of each individual channel to show the delays and filters for each in the Mon section. Thank you!

Thanks. Perhaps simpler - can you just PM me your .dmprof and I can test it on a MTRX ST here. I think we even have access to those same speakers. Thanks.

Thanks. Lastly, please let me know if you are using the dedicated Dolby Atmos Renderer software and if so - with the HD Core Audio driver - Avid Audio Server.

Hi Jeff,
No, I am only using the Pro Tools internal Dolby Atmos Renderer, without the HD Core Audio Driver. No Avid Audio Server. I use Pro Tools Ultimate, but only with MTRX Studio's TB3 native thunderbolt connection and associated TB3 driver (latest). Thanks!
