Intel Core Duo iMac with Mbox and PTLE 6.4?
I am in the process of purchasing a new computer for my Mbox. I am running PTLE 6.4 now on a dell laptop, and need something a little more stable. Rather than buy or build another PC - I was thinking it might be time to make the switch.
Will I run into any problems with my Mbox and PTLE 6.4 with a brand new 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo iMac? http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL...Pt1TYwU/2.?p=0 Also, should I upgrade to 1 GB RAM - and does it make a difference if it is 1 X 1 GB or 2 x 512? They offer both options.

So would 6.4 not even load/run on a new iMac?
What about a mac mini? Any idea how much the upgrade would be for the new 7.0?

The update should be free to owners of 7.x, so you'd need to buy the upgrade to 7, which is about $75 (USD).
