Default Noisy faders

Hi, is it possible to have the noisy faders fixed on my Mc Mix units?
How much would that cost?

Thanks.

Talking about support, in comparison: when you ask a question like mine on the RME forum for a soundcard issue you get a reply from a competent employee within 24 hours.

Xill,

This is a valid concern however very generally stated. I question it's motive while I appreciate your dissatisfaction as authentic. If we were to look at this from a support perspective through official channels we would ask some more questions:

What generation mix do you have? Is it under warranty? How do you define noisy? Did you have the mix before he firmware update two years ago that solved many fader movement problems? What are your use patterns?

I don't expect answers to these questions here, not will I engage such detailed dialog in a public space as we have other official channels to ascertain whether your issues are anomalous or systemic, and to solve them.

Best
JC

Thanks JC,
It is not a question of dissatisfaction, but after a few years of usage my mix are starting to make more noise. They are no longer on warranty and I think one is first generation and the other second generation.

I'm in Canada. Where should I call for support?

The best thing to do is file a support case, these kind of cases are handled case by case at the discretion of hardware quality assurance.
