Default Time Factory 2 weird behavior

Just noticed a bug when converting stereo files 24fps to 25fps.
When converting a split mono L and R files, the result will be severely out of phase.
With the same setting but processing as interleaved file comes out perfect!
The 5.1 discrete channels conversion is also fine.
High Localization has no effect.

Update: Denis just replied and said its not a bug but a feature. A one should always process an interleaved file instead of split LR.

Default Re: Time Factory 2 weird behavior

I always get TF2 to convert to .CAF before timestretching for that same reason, also with mono surround files.

I think it says somewhere in the blurb, that it can only guarantee phase coherence with interleaved files.

Then there's the whole 2 gig file size limit for Wav's??

Its a quirky beast but still the best sound for all in one frame rate changing IMHO.

Yep, always join & convert split mono files before the conversion processing.
