Feature Request: Buffer Change or Plugin Inactive on Record
I have an idea for a feature that might make streamline workflow significantly on limited systems such as laptops on M-Powered or LE.
For recording, you often want to take the playback buffer as low as possible in order to minimize latency. Similarly, you sometimes have to make some plugins and/or tracks inactive to free up CPU to get your tracks down accurately and without interruption. During playback, however, you want to return these settings to their original state. If there are a number of these settings to change, it can be a pain to toggle back and forth - particularly if you are doing a lot of punching-in and reviewing. A feature that would automatically change or enable/disable these settings during recording (or better yet, specifically during audio recording) would be extremely useful. Does anyone else see the value of this feature? |
