Yeah. That’s a PITA with Waves due to the Waveshell and not being able to move individual plugins to the unused plugins folder.

Would be good to have a plugin manager within PT. At least you can search for plugins now though.

If you want to uninstall individual unused Waves plugins, they must be removed manually:
https://www.waves.com/support/uninstall-waves-products

Please note: Manually removing a plugin will not be reflected in Waves Central’s ‘Install Status’ for that plugin.
For correct reflection of the installed plugins in Waves Central, uninstall the entire version and re-install just the plugins that you need.

Nice one.

Not that it was directed at me, but I wasn’t aware you could remove Waves plugins individually if they were in a bundle.

Good to know.

Remember you can also search through plugins. Click an insert slot to bring up the plug-in menu and begin typing. The search results narrow as you add characters. Priority is given to plugins already in your list of favourites. For me this is a big time saver.

This^^^ I use this more and more to save searching thru tons of plugins. As for the "favorites" list, for Windows users, Ctrl-click on any plugin on the lists will add it to the top of the main list. This works nicely, but will all be lost when trashing prefs. Having a method to restore solves that and my method is guitardom's Trasher utility(go here and scroll down https://www.pro-tools-pc.com/). Its not free, but anything this handy is worth paying for

Track Presets is another serious time saver that you should learn and use

Yes. Additionally, both DSP and Native need to be done separately.

Yes agreed the search function is a massive timesaver.

I use Search a lot now , but I would LOVE the ability to make my own plug-in category lists (like Cubase has).

Subscribing to the Plug-in Alliance (MEGA) bundle (which Avid is openly touting now) makes this absolutely necessary, as trying to navigate the “Harmonic” plug-ins sub folder is now a nightmare, trying to discern between “guitar amp modelers”, saturation plugins, modeled stomp boxes, tape modelers and compressors or EQ with a color or THD feature. I have my own very clear ideas about how I want to categorize and order plugins and would really appreciate the ability to do so. For now I just have 8-10 deactivated aux tracks in my template stacked with plugins that I might want to use - “Mastering EQs”, Mastering Compressors, Saturators, etc…

That's fair. I would use this feature too.
