Default sample rate conversion

Hey guys I just upgraded to HD. My old system was a 002 with ADATS... One session was recorded at 44.1 with the external Adat set to 48K... Now I have my Apogee converters and can't seem to get the sample rate back... The session is playing too SLOW... I can't seem to set my converters to a different sample rate than my PT session. My Session is at 44.1 and I need my clock to be 48... Are there any tips on converting? What can I convert to? to make it play...? Please Help...

Default Re: sample rate conversion

In the Pro Tools Workspace window (Windows>Show Workspace) locate the audio files that were recorded at the wrong sample rate and, in the Sample Rate column, change the SR to 44100. Then create a new session at the correct (48 k) sample rate and import the audio files, or use 'Import Session Data' to import the tracks into a new session.

The problem is that the files are 'tagged' at the incorrect (44.1k) sample rate - they're recorded at 48k (slaved to ADAT), but tagged at the Pro Tools session sample rate. You need to correct the tag, then import them into a session at the correct sample rate or SR convert them into a session at 44.1k.
