It has been radio silence from Plug-in Alliance. But if we look at their track record, we can see that it took them about 16 months to release Silicon native AU/VST's!(They released most of their Silicon Native AU/VST's in march of 2022, M1 with LogicX was released in Novenber 2020)

It's not the developers, it's PA themselves.

Where'd you find this? I went by Three Body site and could only see a 1.6.2 download.

Sometimes I would download a plugin only to find out that the update is there but not listed as the updated plugin. I think that has happened with a few of these smaller companies. This company have nice people there and they are happy to have things like that pointed out to change or fix on their pages, but not sure if it's the case here, but wanted to mention it anyway.

Thanks! I've seen that too. I just tried running the 1.6.2 installer available on the Three Body site, but it installs 1.6.2. Just to make sure I went ahead and installed the AAX and just as before it fails validation when I run Pro Tools 2023.3 natively. So putting version 1.6.0 of the AAX back... again. AU and VST work fine.

I emailed them about 2 weeks ago and they sent me betas for the plugins they had AAX ARM native versions for. So you can just email them too.

Default Plugins compatible with Apple Silicon natively

There's a funky little drum VI called Ugritone Drums. I got it on a special somewhere. It has various kits, etc. Anyway it appears the plug-in was *silently* updated and this version 3.0.15 now runs natively on Apple Silicon.

https://ugritone.com/

You can get the installer by going into your user account, clicking on a previous order and using the download link.

THERE IS ONE PROBLEM, HOWEVER. Like some of the Native Instruments installers, if you have the previous non-AS-native version of the plug-in installed, it will not be properly overwritten by the installer and will not work properly. Instantiating the plugin in PT 2023.3 may result in PT "not responding" requiring a Force Quit.

The solution is to delete the older "Ugritone Drums.aaxplugin" file in the Finder BEFORE running the new installer. It will then be installed properly and work correctly.
