Default REX tempo Change

How do I change the tempo of a REX file in pro tools le 7.0. Can some one please give me instructions.
So far just changing the tempo has not worked. And are there any good pro tools manuals in PDF format.

Thanx

Make sure the track is Tick based (not sample based).

The Reference Guide is available as a PDF from the Help menu within the program...
