Default Single license for two platform.

Hi guys I'm an old user since PT 4.1 TDM
Now I have two different warkstation, a more than old system on mac and a less old but not last release pro tools MP9 on Win.
I'd like to upgate my MP9 to PT12 (software only) and wondering if will be possible to install the software on my PC Win7 and a new Mac Mini i7 quad core Yosemite, using them alternatively just moving the Ilok.

Any help would be appreciate.

Thanks in advance
Marco

You absolutely can do that. That's one of the few benefits of iLok.

Just looking at your Sandra report, though (thanks for providing that!) and I'm thinking that PT12 won't even INSTALL on that rig. Nowhere near enough ram, no secondary hard drive, and an AMD processor. But hey, it's worth a try! They said PT 8.0.5 wouldn't run on Win 8.1, and it works quite nicely.

As Measone mentioned, yes you can move between computers. However, you should check the system requirements first, as your posted system is outside of the recommended hardware:http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...m-Requirements

Thank mesaone.
I assume by your answer that the installer I'd download will work either for win or mac. Is it right?
Cheers

Hi sw rec thanks for your reply.
You are right.... the fact is that I posted the sandra report I made with the 32 bit startup disk and with all the external drives (laciè d2 quadra) turned off. My fault. I could switch my win system to a 64bit win 7 professional which will allow me to fully use up to 16GB ram.

On the processor side... well, probably you are right....I just need to check it out on the avid compatibility list.

On the mac side, I think that my mac mini quad core i7 16 GB ram could be good enough to run PT12 without too much active plugins... I don't need to mix in the box, just to play a medium number of audio tracks.

Hi JoelG, thanks.
I'll do it. I have the possibility to use a little bit more powered system under win - I explained that in my replay to Sw Rec.
Cheers
