Default Protools 11 + Mbox Promotion Partial Shipment..

Hi all,

I jumped on the ProTools 11 + Mbox special offer bundle (http://shop.avid.com/store/product.d...08395837918704) and received only a single package envelope (that was roughly 8''x10''x1'' in size) with only Pro Tools inside and not the Mbox. I tried emailing customer service and explained this situation to them but so far the only response I've gotten was:

"Hello ____,

According to Fedex Tracking # ____________, you package was delivered
yesterday at 1:13 PM.


Best regards,
Ian
arvato systems NA , Inc.
1700 Broadway 26th Floor
New York, NY 10019"
(*omitted Name and Tracking number only. Typo is part of the original message)

Any suggestions of what I could do..?

it's called a credit card chargeback - call your CC company and explain it to them. You did not get what you ordered - you contacted the company and did not get a satisfactory response your CC company will need to see all the emails

Well what did he say when you replied, clarifying to him that yes you got the envelope but the content was incorrect? And did that tracking number match the one on your envelope? Go double check your order receipt really shows what you thought it did.

In future just don't purchase through the Avid store. This seems significantly more poorly run than many larger Avid resellers like Sweetwater or B&H where you can email typically intelligent folks or call them on the phone.
