Motif Rack ES & Protools

I just got the new Yamaha Motif Rack es , it sound really good.

But... under Protools

If I use its USB conection , It works fine but it does not recognize midinames

but if I use standard midi conections it does recognize all midi names from a Motif ES 6/7/8 midinames (from motu)

Any Clue?

Try removing characters that are not numbers or letters from the midnam file.

I did that with my k2500 and it finally worked! Epiphany.

Thanks DV , I know you are trying to help , but you gave me an unrelated answer , the K2500 only conects with MIDI , here I am dealing with a USB connection problem.
