Only very short time testing, but did not find any change in performance. If 11.4 is working for you it seems to be safe to update to 11.5 but too early to say if it has introduced any new bugs. If you have a client session coming I would rather wait until next bugfix that likely supports 11.5

I went ahead and upgraded my OS to MacOS 11.5 as I'm not working on any important projects at the moment. Given the release notes only mentions one new feature and 2 issue fixes, I felt it was safe to proceed:

======
macOS Big Sur 11.5 includes the following improvements for your Mac:

• Podcasts Library tab allows you to choose to see all shows or only followed shows
This release also fixes the following issues:
• Music may not update play count and last played date in your library
• Smart cards may not work when logging into Mac computers with the M1 chip
======
So far so good. Protools started up, opened some sessions, plays back fine, bounced a few files, can see my plugins, etc.

According to Mac rumors, just some bug fixes. But did notice this:

*macOS Big Sur* 11.5 is likely to be one of the final updates to the *macOS Big Sur* operating system as Apple shifts its attention to macOS Monterey, which is set to be released this fall.

I am running Fine on 11.4 with 2021.6 !!

I will not be upgrading from Big Sur anytime soon hopefully 11.5 will not cause any stability issues with Pro Tools

I upgraded to 11.5, pulled up PT, opened a session and it plays fine. No issues here.
