Default WTB: PowerMac 9600

Anyone have an old PowerMac 9600 collecting dust? As long as everything works I'll take it. I'm after the 300/350mhz version with the Kansas motherboard. Please shoot over a PM if you've got one!

Hi HsLand,

I just cutted and pasted an old message but maybee it could help to replace youre powermac 9600, just let me know if youre interested :

I have a old pro tools III TDM system with two 442 interfaces, the expension chassis with 4 cards (2 tdm cards and 2 ''piggy cards'' if I remember exactly the name on them). Also, a quadra 650 with the mouse, keyboard, adaptor to plug recent flat screen, a lot of floppy discs 3.5 with ProTools installers, updates and somes digi and waves plugins. I don't know how much autorizations remains on the floppy disks. an external apple cd drive, a new external hard drive (I remember that one plug (db25? db50? I willl have to check ) do not work or have never been installed so you cannot run the external hard drive and the external cd drive at the same time. Last time I worked with this system, it was what remain to be fix. I also have the original os8.0 install cd, a ethernet Fallon cable....or a name like this...to transfer data with another system (use mine with an old powermac G5 but I remember it need some kind of program on quadra or G5 to allow the protocol but I'm not sure. Anyway, let e know if youre interested and I will take somes pics this weekend :)
I didn't use this system since a while (I'm working on Pro Tools 8 and 9 now) and I need to make space for preamps, compressors and other gear so I will sell for a very reasonnable price.

Have a nice day :)

Speaking of a 9600... would anyone happen to have a NewerTech G3 500mhz upgrade CPU for a 9600 laying around?
