Default How to LOCK a Track Height?

Is there a way to Lock a track's Height in the Edit Window??

Although, I am still at PT 7.3.1...I know this feature does not exists....but maybe this has been implemented in PT 8.x.

Thanks,

well, one way to do this is to save your trk heights
as part of a mem/locate position,
then if things change
you get 'em back with a quick key command.

e.p.s. btw, this is available now on your v7...

What I'm actually wanting to do is.....minimize and Lock all AUX track's height so that they will not Resize when I Resize ALL <Option> audio Tracks.

My thought here is that...When Resizing ALL tracks using the <option> shortcut, there should be some way to filter out or only choose which type of tracks you want to resize. I don't particularly care to resize AUX tracks due to they don't show anything more than just an automation data-line; thus taking up more Screen Space in the Edit Widow.

Otherwise, maybe there should be a preference or shortcut to:

1) Resize ALL Tracks
2) Resize Audio Tracks Only
3) Resize MIDI Tracks Only
4) Resize Instrument Tracks Only

OH, BTW....speaking of Resizing Tracks....what about individually Resizing Channel Strips in the Mix Window??

Later,

My kludge is to make a group(s) of the tracks you want to resize, select the group and then shift option resize to change the height of the highlighted tracks.
