Instrument Track in PT 7.0

Hey everyone.

The new instrument track looks great. It will definitely make my sessions easier to navigate.

Just wondering how multi-timbral instruments like SampleTank 2 and Kontact 2 will work with the new Instrument Track?

I like the look of the instrument tracks too and I'm also wondering this.

How will it be possible to have one instance of Kontakt running with multiple instrument tracks playing different instruments from that one plug?

I haven't used VIs or MIDI in Pro Tools yet so I'm not sure how this works. I know in Cubase you load up an instrument and then assign whatever MIDI tracks to whatever channels in the Instrument, but how do you just have one instrument working with multiple voices and MIDI/Instrument tracks to conserve CPU in Pro Tools?

Hi,

I guess a new midi track for each new part and a new aux track for each new output as required! and the plugin will be seated on the main instrument track playing part 1 and outputting part 1.
