Default Did the audio engine get an upgrade with PT8?

I've heard sparse rumors that DAE got an upgrade, and that PT8 will generally sound better because of it. True? False?

I doubt the improvement, if it exists, would be drastic.

Any confirmation of this? I assume that it would be promoted more if true, but I definitely remember reading about an improvement of some sort in this area.

Hi!

I thought PT8 sounded a little clearer and a little less muddy than previous versions. I know it's insane but I think there is a small sonic change for the better.

The Aliens are us! hehe!

when logic 8 came out, most people claimed that it sounded a lot better...then I spoke with one of the main tech guys there at emagic ...who assured me that nothing has changed in the audio engine...

LOL...I have a feeling its similar to PT8...

Placebo can certainly have an effect on tests, but I'm referring to blurbs I've read.

No confirmation of an update then? All still speculation? Digi?
