Pro Tools is an audio Erector set capable of excellent mastering. It just can't burn disks or make DDP files.

Sonoris DDP creator is the go-to solution for those functions although there are now some new players worth checking out.

Something like Izotope Ozone would offer a comprehensive set of mastering tools that can be used in Pro Tools or any other app.

For compiling CD's Toast is great, it offers a lot of mastering options (ISRC, EAN, CD-Text etc) and is dead simple and quick to use.

If you want DDP and something a little more comprehensive check out DSP Quattro.

I would have to go with iZotope 3 because I'm running OS 10.4

Not that hard. Hit their site, go to Support, scroll to Legacy; Ozone 3 is the bottom entry. I imagine that the $249 for Ozone 5 will cover the liense fee, though you may need to get an O3 code from them.

FWIW, satisfied customer and user here.

Bob, I appreciate the hell and input. ! I've been to their site, but it really didn't dawn on me that it would be there, I'm so accustomed to going through third party avenues most of the time. Thanks again.
