Default Regular Ultra wide -Ultra 3-enclosures the same?

Hey all,

I have 2 Glyph rackmounted Ulta Wide enclosures that I got about 5 years ago. They are regular ultra wide scsi I have been using them with an atto UW dual controller since I got them. I want to upgrade to the newer ATTO 160 scsi 3 card to use with my mix system to get rid of error messages when I am doing 64 tracks with a lot of edits. Can I still use these enclosures? I looked at some tech documents and noticed the new scsi 3 is still 68 pin. Does this mean all I need is then new card and I am good to go? I can use the same cables and everything its just the Bus card that needs to be upgraded?

Thanks so much for any help on the subject!!

james
