Using VST in PT9

I have realised that I can use VST plugs within PT9 via my Native Instruments Maschine. If you have one & wish to use VSTs in PT9 just insert Maschine as plugin. The benefit there is that VST 2.4 does seem to work in Maschine & FXpansion does NOT officially support VST 2.4, causing all sorts of weird events taking place.

Can you have the Maschine plugin on more than one track at a time? I realize there's only one hardware unit, but I wasn't sure how it worked.

thanks for the info. does maschine accurately report plugin latency to PT when using VSTs?
