M1 Max MacBook Pro Monterey, Kontakt Crashing Pro Tools

Yes Im experiencing the same beach ball and the Kontakt aax Virtual Instrument crashing Pro Tools when it tries to load a sample library. Let me know if you find a fix thank you!

Just a quick update:

I just did a quick wipe of the Macbook Pro 14" M1 Max with Monterey - clean install of the latest Pro Tools and Native Access software. Opening of the Kontakt Factory Selection Sample Library inside of Pro Tools crashes it completely, no change.

Same here. Latest updates etc. Kontakt 6 not loading and samples. PT freezes. Happening on three systems all with M1 processors. Kontakt 5 however does load and work normally.

Kontakt does load normally in Logic and Ableton live.

@ronwasserman I can get the Kontakt plugin loaded into a virtual instrument trac (either Kontakt 6 or 5 both are the latest updated versions). What Im experiencing is that I can get "The Giant" sample library opened and plays, however when I try to open other Kontakt libraries it immediately crashes and closes Pro Tools. Have you tried opening other libraries or just the one?

No. Certainly not on M1 Max. Avid Complete Bundle doesn't work.
I mean, PT runs, but Monterey on M1 isn't reliable at the moment.

I've tried several libraries. Absolutely nothing loads.

I just got back from a Genius Bar appointment at the Apple store in London. All we can do is wait which is very unfortunate as none of my pro tools sessions with kontakt work. It looks like I will have learn Logic Pro X for the time being as native instruments kontakt and it’s sample libraries have been an essential part of my work flow for years and they work perfectly inside of Logic.

same issue here with Kontakt and PT. Freezes upon loading sample libraries
