Re: pt 9 meters acting up (choppy)
Could be a graphics issue. On my system, whenever I have any Waves plugin open on the screen, the meters get choppy(I need to update the Waves but don't have the cash right now). Have you set Pro Tools to Run as Admin, and to Disable Desktop Composition? Start there, and maybe update the graphics card driver. I get my graphics drivers from the parent company instead of the card maker(IOW, go directly to ATI.com for an ATI driver, and directly to nVidia.com for those drivers). Personally, I have found that 9.0.5 runs much worse on my system so I am staying with 9.0 until I go to 10.

Re: pt 9 meters acting up (choppy)
Also make sure you've done suggested optimization's;
http://avid.custkb.com/avid/app/self...p?DocId=367983 EDIT: just read your other post and see that you have optimized. Maybe time for a Sandra report; - Please - Use SiSoftware's Sandra Lite application to generate a full system profile: www.sisoftware.co.uk Under SiSoftware Sandra, click on "Download & Buy" to download the free Sandra Lite version or purchase other versions. After installing Sandra, click on the 'Hardware' tab and run the 'Computer Overview', then copy and paste into your post here on the DUC.
