Hey Chris,
I think you've seen my pictures how my board sits and I need my keyboard is a bit lower than the board and it's on a slide out. the C-24 is NOT ergonomically set up for me at all, as it probably would sit too high on my desk. I think I'd have to cut that desk open and down again like it had been altered originally for the HUI to fit it and for me to be able to look down on it and not look and not up at it like I do some now. It's not too bad, but that's like my next big desire for how things ought to sit in that room in the future. I need to get my ergonomics in better shape and spend the dough but I think this keyboard is wishful thinking for me. I gues it's time to get the carpenter her to slice out another deep hole in this desk and put the board in the way it belongs. So much for decent looking but cheesy fixes. I should have learnd all this from my Dad, that this kind of stuff never works! take it easy mon frere.

Hi,

Yet another classic Scott Goldberg post what a man!

Yes this little kybd enables me to ditch the bigger one's that usually sit in front of the c24 and take up valuable reaching space! now with this little one i don't have to stretch to get to my rotary pots.

Only the command key doesn't work!!!! doesn't worry me as i use the modifier keys on the C24 and not on the qwerty anymore.

I'll take a photo and put it up on my site!

Chris

Hi,

Here's a link to some pics of my C24 with the Keysonic nano qwerty and other stuff that may be of interest for PT users regarding multi function trackball and shuttle express...

I must kill you now...you know that don't you?

Hey Chris, I know that you just ordered that "thing" but I ran into a friend at AES who is designing another product that may interest you. It had too many bells and whistles for me to remember all the cool things he was telliing me. (Mr. short term memory loss!) but if you are interested, I'll give you his number and you two can hash it out. He used to work for Skywalker Sound out here and he's real sharp and he's a very cool guy unlike yourself!

Let me know and I'd be happy to give you his info. What I DO remember is that this Mouse/trackball allows the user to do a bunch of fairly complex and common functions without ever having to touch the keyboard for most anything. Just a thought, albeit a small one. Kind of like a Kensington mouse on steroids. Another classic SG post to the "C" man! Hey! It finally rained here dude! Send me a private e-mail if you are interested as I don't always get a chance to get back to the DUC OK? Quack on! Then I can tell you my dilemma of deciding to toss out a bunch of cash on a Vari-Mu. I'm tryin to think but nuthin' happens! I think I am turning into a Gear slut. HELP!
