HELP... Audio Drive formatting problem

My System Drive is setup as: Partition / Basic / NTFS (which according to Digidesign is correct)
My Audio Drive is setup as: Simple / Dynamic / NTFS (which according to Digidesign is wrong)

I have no idea as to how or why they are setup this way. I have went ahead and wiped out all of the files on the Audio Drive and am stuck trying to figure out how to get it set correctly.

FYI:
2x 80gig Western Digital HD / Window XP Pro / Asus A7V600 / AMD 3000+/333 Barton / Digi002r

I use the following script to set my hardrive to it's original factory settings(like I just bought it)..once run, all your partitions are deleted,so you have to format and re-create partitions on it. To make sure you are doing it to the right hardrive, unplug your system hardrive(after shutting down your computer)pop in a Windows 98 startup disc,boot up, then run the script at the A:\ prompt

after the -a cs:100 you just type everything on the right handside...the mov ax,301 etc...i have used this many times and it works well. this script will turn your hard drive back to factory settings...

well, more of an XP way is to click Start, right click on MyComputer, then Manage->Storage->DiskManagement. From there delete the existing partitions from the audio drive, repartition (not dynamic) and format.

Well, that was alot easier than I ever dreamed... I was afraid to mess with that stuff earlier.
It is formatting now.
