I have no grid or nudge pop up

I'm not all the way through the book yet, but in the upper right of my screen, I have no pop up arrows to the right of my grid and nudge meters. The grid meter is grayed out. I think the nudge meter is green but I can't change it. The grid meter will change if I change the time scale from beat/samples/minutes, but it stays gray and has no arrow.I don't think it is a screen size problem. The two little X's for closing the pages, and the up and down bar on the right, and the edges of the grid/nudge meters
all line up vertically at the right edge of the screen.

It sounds like a screen size problem to me. If you have your display set for less than 1024 x 768 you will not get those pop-up arrows.

I believe you need a monitor (computer) that is at least 17" in order to see all of the PTLE screen. You can still access all the functions, but you won't be able to see the nudge functions on the screen with a 15" monitor.

I have a 15" monitor and had the same problem. You CAN access the Grid button.
From your desktop, right click, and hit Properties. From there,(can't remember the exact monitor size setting, just try a few), you can make your overall monitor size smaller than your screen(like down to 9" for example). Then, widen your monitor to the right as much as possible. Set you Grid note to what you want, then resize your monitor back to normal.
