Upgrade Pro Tools Ultimate to Pro Tools Ultimate. Only $499

I have 2 versions of Pro Tools - Studio and Ultimate. Both perpetual, both on current support plans.
Here's the text of an email I just received (with the 3 words for HD missed out).

"Get access to these features, Inner Circle rewards, SoundFlow Cloud Avid Edition, and more when you upgrade your existing perpetual Pro Tools Ultimate ...to the latest Pro Tools Ultimate perpetual license (yes, you'll stay on your perpetual license). Plus, save 33% if you act now (just $499)!"

WTF are they on about? Why would I upgrade Ultimate to Ultimate? Seriously, Avid marketing need to be fired. All of them.

They keep sending me e-mails to renew my support plan, even though I just did in June like I do EVERY June. SMH.

This is the most confusing and complicated upgrade path of all time. Why so many versions/options??? Seriously makes me doubt my resolve to stay with Avid.
